Priyanka picked for series vs Bangladesh 'A'

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has selected Odisha Cricket Association's Priyanka Priyadarshini Sahu in India 'A' women's team for a three-match one-day series against Bangladesh 'A' scheduled to be played at Hubli (Karnataka) on December 2, 5 and 7, 2017.

A right-hand batsman and right-arm off-break bowler from Bhubaneswar, Priyanka has the experience of playing over 40 women's one-day and 30 T20 matches for Odisha. She also played two warm-up matches against Pakistan women's team before the Women's World Cup at Cuttack in January 2013. OCA Working Committee Chairman Mr Dhiren Pallai congratulated Priyanka for her inclusion in the India 'A' women's one-day team and wishes her best of luck.

Besides the three one-day matches, India 'A' women's team will play three T20 matches against Bangladesh 'A' in the upcoming home series at Belgaum (Karnataka) from December 12 to 16. Anuja Patil has been named captain of both the India 'A' women's one-day and T20 teams.
